Carter's Drunken Wisdom

Go-go boy Carter was drunk off his ass at my Here Lounge event, Porn Star of the Week, tonight.

Last night now, I suppose. I just got in.

After a few brief encounters throughout the evening, he decided to break it down and call me on my shit. Not in a mean way though. I doubt he even remembers saying it.

"When you're up on stage, you're so funny and you're always smiling and laughing. And then you get off stage and you just look so irritated. And why are you gettin' all shy? What? You are all rough and dominant and agressive until someone actually shows interest in you and then you get all shy?"

Pretty much, Carter. Yeah. I couldn't have put it much better.

Santa Clause can't be jolly 24/7

Clowns can't be outrageous 24/7

Comedian can't be hilarious 24/7.

May be next time when you see Carter, you can ask him "would you want to see a santa slapping the kids just because he's irritated?" or "would you want to see Ellen shouting and demanding her audiences to leave the studio because she's upset?" (although it may be an interesting idea, but no, that's not professional at job)

Once you're on the stage, you are a different person. You need to throw all the bad things behind you. Jason Sechrest is the pro at this.

Shyness is one of your personality. You get rid of the shyness once you're ready to embrace it.

cheers.

Jimmy - The problem with events like the ones I do is that there is no off-stage. Even when I'm not ON stage, I'm still seen. lol... And I forget that a lot. Carter is not the first person to tell me I need to smile a little more. xo L, J.

Dewayne - Which Jason? lol xo L, J.

Caleb - This time. lol xo L, J.
